Greg and the monkey

Turtle Bay is one of the best places to see the local vervet monkies up close. They were brought to the island as pets by the French settlers. Since then, they have learned to be wary of humans because they are hunted to serve as pets. Some are even hunted for food.

They are wonderful animals with adorable faces.
